When Manheim won their state title agaisnt Pine Richland I thought that was the best football game I ever saw. But to witness the Seals victory for the title I now have a new favorite. What an intense and amazing game to watch. My kids and I were able to watch the parade go right past our house. What a memory. Congrats to each and everyone of you, coaches included, you soo deserve this. And thank you for the memories and for bringing the title to SELINSGROVE!!!

I graduated in 1966 and needless to say we were the punching bag for most of the teams that you guys beat up on now......our program has come a long way and you make us all VERY PROUD. Wish I could have been there, but thanks to technology I could listen to you making history. Terrific game......Congratulations!

Congratulations Seals (and especially my nephew Hunter)!
I was lucky enough to listen to all of the games this season on the radio while I was stuck at work in southern California. By the end of the season, my coworkers understood why there was cheering and screaming coming from my cubicle on Friday afternoons. On Friday December 18th, they did not need to ask why I wore a SEALS sweatshirt and had my hair in pigtails. Everyone knew how excited I was to cheer for some boys that were 3000 miles away, how jealous I was of the people that were able to go to the games (except for a few wet/cold games that seemed horrendous even on the radio), how loudly I screamed "FLAG" at the video streaming on my computer screen on 3rd and 5 during 'The Drive', how badly I wanted to celebrate the culimination of a dream, and how much I wanted to thank everyone for letting me participate from so far away.
I was fortunate enough to see this team play one game every year since the Seniors were in 4th grade. I remember even then there were rumblings in the crowd of “wow these kids are good”. I saw a game when the boys were in 9th grade and there was the most perfect blocking down the sideline after an interception that I have ever seen. That was when it turned into "WOW THESE KIDS ARE GOOD!" The next year it became "Do you think the could go all the way?" And finally this year, when I was able to see the Seals play Danville (if you want to call it that...), you could see the confidence in every person in the stands and on the field that these young men would “Leave No Doubt”!
Congratulations, from a fan that always gets questions when she takes her Seals coffee mug to meetings and will proudly regale them with stories about the Seals Football team and the bright futures they have ahead of them.
Good Luck with everything you do in the future (whether it is football, wrestling, academics or just ‘Al Bundy’ championship game stories told at Bott’s when you are 40.) We will always remember the joy you brought us by letting us join you for a few hours each week, whether it was from the chilly stands or from a network connection 3000 miles away. Either way we were all yelling “TOUCHDOWN”, and only a few of us didn’t have anyone there to high-five.

Just wanted to send out a shout out of congratulations to the Seals and the Selinsgrove and Snyder County communities.
As a Johnstown High alum, I left the stadium in Richland that cold night with some of my Trojan fan friends and many of us could only say "I believe we just saw the state champs"
Great job everyone!

A Big Thanks to the Coaches and the Golden Team of "09" As I posted back in Jan."09" on the support of The Amazing Team of "08", I'm back bursting with pride, to say Congratulations and Thanks Seals for a Super Fantabulous "09" Season. You are the Greatest (16-0) Seals Football Team that I or anyone else in the area has ever seen. Again for "09", you not only did your Community, your Fans, your Parents.and your Coaches Proud , but most of all, you Seals did Your-Selves Proud . Your Commitment and Dedication for your 12 Year Dream in "09" was absolutely unbelievable, especially in the Championship Drive, with all your Injuries & Ailments. Like the"08" Team, you too had The Intestinal Fortitude, which was Guts, Will-Power, Determination, and the Tremendous Desire & will to win it all; "The Gold". All year long, the game wasn't over until You Seals told us when it was over, many times within 3 to 5 mins. after it started, and several times within only 15 to 30 secs. In the Final Game, you proved it again, because up until 111 secs. remaining in the game, you all said it isn't over, until YOU said it was over. Many Fans on the Baron's side Happily thought it was over, but with your LEAVE NO DOUBT Attitude & Determination, and Bruit Strength, and the next 4 clicks on the game clock at 1 min.- 47 sec., you all looked up at the Score Board from The End Zone, and said "NOW IT'S OVER". Guess what Guys, you were right, for you made a "GOLDEN Statement", for a Perfect Season, when you Drove the Final Golden Nail in the Baron's Coffin. You brought The House Roaring down upon you with the most exciting moment in Seals Football History. What a Drive, What a Team, What a "GOLDEN TOUCH DOWN" ! You also proved your Coach to be correct, as he said many times that you Seals,"could not only be AAA State Champions, but also the # 1 Team in the state". Well Guys, a (16-0) Season, and the only Undefeated Team out of 594 PA. schools, you SEALS are Indisputably the # 1 Team in the state. You not only put Selinsgrove Football on the map, but you did Dist.# 4, # 2, & # 11 proud as your accomplishment represented North - Eastern PA. High School Football. Thanks to our Great Coach & his Super Staff, for a Championship Season, and also Coach, congrats again on Your "09" Coach of the Year Award. Coach, you are The Real Deal for SEAL High Football. To you, and the Team congratulations on your Jan. 30 th. Banquet date with WNEP, to pick up the # 1 DREAM TEAM TROPHY. We came so close for so many years, but this year, LEAVE NO DOUBT, it was yours from day one. To the Webmaster, thanks again for all your hard work, and the best Football Site on the Net. Also, thanks to the Cheerleaders, Booster Club, Band, Sponsors, Fans and the Community who supported the Great "09" SEALS Team. You all helped to make it an unforgettable 16 week ride. Finally, thanks to Dr. Johnson, our Superintendent, who is so supportive and totally committed to a winning Football Program here at Selinsgrove. We are the luckiest School in PA. to have such a dedicated Educational Leader on our Side Line. In closing, as I predicted to All "09" Opponents in my post last Jan., that it wasn't a Promise, or a Threat, nor a Warning, but it was a Guarantee, the Seals Big Red Thrashing Machine was coming for the "09" Season. Well, they came, they conquered with true Seals Dominating Smash - Mouth Football, and they came home with the AAA GOLD. You Left No Doubt, from day one that you were the Team to beat, and nobody could do it. To some of the other 593 high school teams in the state that were non-believers, and who underestimated the sheer quick strike Offensive Fire power, and the brutal Devastating Defensive Strength of the "09" SEALS Team, they ended up getting Blindsided. However, to the Leave No Doubt Seals Fans, we loved the results of 16 weeks of " Beautiful Friday Night Lights". Thanks again Guys, what a thrill, and to the underclassmen, it's time to reload, and put the hammer down & do it again in "10". A Life Long SEALS Fan.
